Available in A4 and A3 size, the highly detailed drawing portrays a large blue fish with a big shiny eye and large pouty lips. Each scale on the fish’s body is itself a tiny fish head, facing int the opposite direction. The body of the fish has a blue, green and yellow water colour wash through it, giving the effect of it shimmering underwater. Similarly to the other art prints in the Hidden Below set, there is a plain pale blue circle positioned behind the fish in great contrast to the detailed pen work of the illustration. Inspired by a dreamlike world where little is what it seems, this art print has a water themed colour palette, using mostly blues, bust also green and yellow to create the shiny underwater effect.

Beginning with a pencil sketch before moving to pen, a method called crosshatching is used to create the depth and the tone you see in the final design. This fine line art is then scanned into a computer and coloured digitally.
