These vintage inspired ‘You are Amazing Mum’ all occasion, Australian Mother’s Day cards have been hand illustrated using fine liner pens, digitally coloured, and printed in Melbourne by The Nonsense Maker. The highly detailed drawing portrays large block lettering spelling the word MUM. Each letter is illustrated with a different pattern in blues, greens and reds, and hand lettered font above says “You are incredibly awesome and AMAZING”. Inspired by a dreamlike world where little is what it seems, this Mother's Day card design has a bold colour palette, using shades of red and blue.

Beginning with a pencil sketch before moving to pen, a method called crosshatching is used to create the depth and the tone you see in the final design.
