This vintage inspired A5 wall art print titled ‘Harvey's Head’ from the Animal Portrait set has been hand illustrated using fine liner pens, digitally coloured, and printed in Melbourne by The Nonsense Maker. The highly detailed drawing portrays the well dressed head and shoulders of wonderfully wise Harvey. He wears a green checked vest over a white shirt and red tie. His ears sit so tall they don’t fit in view in the ornate wooden frame. Inspired by a dreamlike world where little is what it seems, this art print has a yellow vintage inspired colour palette, with a warm mustard background, and brown, green, and burgundy features.

The Nonsense Maker’s ‘Harvey's Head’ art print is hand made in Melbourne using all Australian suppliers. Beginning with a pencil sketch before moving to pen, a method called crosshatching is used to create the depth and the tone you see in the final design. This fine line art is then scanned into a computer and coloured digitally. All our art prints are printed on the highest quality paper with fade-resistant pigment ink, giving them the same life span as a painting.
