Inspired by a dreamlike world where little is what it seems, this 21st birthday card has a bold colour palette, using bright green, gold yellow and shades of red.

Beginning with a pencil sketch before moving to pen, a method called crosshatching is used to create the depth and the tone you see in the final design.
