This sweet ‘For you this Christmas’ Christmas greeting card has been hand illustrated using fine liner pens, digitally coloured, and printed in Melbourne by The Nonsense Maker. The highly detailed drawing portrays a brown paper wrapped heart tied with red and white twine and stuck together with sticky tape. The gift tag attached to the heart says “For you this Christmas xoxo”. Inspired by a dreamlike world where little is what it seems, this romantic Christmas card has a simple colour palette, using light brown, red, and beige.

Beginning with a pencil sketch before moving to pen, a method called crosshatching is used to create the depth and the tone you see in the final design. This fine line art is then scanned into a computer and coloured digitally. All our artist designed Christmas cards are ethically printed on high quality FSC certified recycled paper, and our envelopes are 100% recycled.
