Meet Melbourne Artist Emily May
Emily May is a self-taught artist with an affinity for the peculiar, and a love of making nonsense.
Her artwork is finely hand-illustrated, creating beautiful images from thousands of tiny pen strokes. Inspired by old-world whimsey and vintage storybooks, Emily creates her playful, nostalgic pieces by blending her imaginary world with the modern day.

The ink - printed with rich, vibrant, high quality ink that will not fade over time.
The paper - printed on bespoke fine art 308gsm cotton paper with a beautiful matt finish.
The packaging - wonderful thick cardboard backing with gold foil, much like those found on a hard cover book. It's here you can also find a whimsical poem about the inspiration behind the art print!
Absolutely not! We print all of our art prints in house with a special kind of pigment ink, giving them the same lifespan as a painting!
Our art prints come in a few standard sizes:
- A5 art prints (Smallest)
- A4 art prints
- A3 art prints
- A2 art prints (biggest)
Hint: A4 is a standard piece of printer paper!
A great way to find which art print size works best for you is to measure the wall or frame you have in mind, then use a piece (or pieces) of paper to visualise the artwork in that space.
Our smaller prints are perfect for shelves, desks, and cosy corners, while larger sizes make a statement above a sofa or bed.
If you're creating a gallery wall with multiple art prints, mixing sizes always looks wonderful!
