A seagull sits upon a bright yellow sunflower to the left of the illustration, and in the top right corner of the artwork a second seagull flies upward into the sky, framing the centre illustration. Inspired by a dreamlike world where little is what it seems, this art print has a vibrant colour palette, using many shades of bright pink, yellow, blue, purple, green, and red.

Beginning with a pencil sketch before moving to pen, a method called crosshatching is used to create the depth and the tone you see in the final design. This fine line art is then scanned into a computer and coloured digitally.
