This quirky ‘Good Luck’ all occasion, good luck greeting card has been hand illustrated using fine liner pens, digitally coloured, and printed in Melbourne by The Nonsense Maker. The highly detailed drawing portrays six lines of scrabble tiles spelling out the words “Good luck even though you don't need it”. Inspired by a dreamlike world where little is what it seems, this good luck card has a simple colour palette, using only beige and black.

The Nonsense Maker’s ‘Good Luck’ greeting card is sustainably hand made in Melbourne using all Australian suppliers.

Beginning with a pencil sketch before moving to pen, a method called crosshatching is used to create the depth and the tone you see in the final design. This fine line art is then scanned into a computer and coloured digitally. All our greeting cards are ethically printed on high quality recycled paper, and our envelopes are 100% recycled.

We often have customers let us know they love our greeting cards but struggle to think of things to write in them, and they are certainly not alone there! Check out our blog page for our top tips on what to write in a greeting card.

The Nonsense Maker’s unique good luck card designs are imagined from a fun and whimsical world where dreaming meets reality. Sometimes silly and sometimes sad, inspired by etching techniques used by old time illustrators. While The Nonsense Maker’s art prints often have finer details, the greeting cards and quirky stationery are usually an easy cheerful expression designed to bring a smile to your face.
